Written in My Own Heart’s Blood is one of the best Outlander books.
Some of my favorite books are usually part of a longer series because I love seeing characters develop and reading story lines that span multiple books.
But have you ever been reading a book series and realized that the later books are actually way better than the earlier ones?
Maybe Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is your favorite book in the series because it’s when the story starts to get darker and little more grown-up.
Perhaps you prefer Breaking Dawn over Twilight because you love seeing Bella as a vampire.
Maybe you enjoyed the first A Series of Unfortunate Events book, but The Penultimate Peril, which is the 12th novel in the series, is just a masterpiece from start to finish.
Heck, maybe you can’t wait to see the movie version of Always and Forever, Lara Jean because you think it’s the best book and shows how much Lara Jean and Peter have grown.
So tell us which book series actually got better as it went on and WHY in the comments below, and you could be featured in a BuzzFeed Community post or video!
