Serving up French Provence cuisine, Maison Vivienne (136 Main St.) is set to open on Memorial Day weekend with chef Florian V. Hugo (who worked under Paul Bocuse and Alain Ducasse). Part of a larger opening of a new inn with the same name by Svitlana Flom, Tessa Flom, and Allan Basaran, the restaurant features a herb and vegetable garden and a landscaped outdoor terrace.

Back for the 2018 summer season, Latch Pop-Up Inn is the luxury accommodation option in Southampton Village. The charming, rustic former historic Village Latch Inn hides refreshingly simple suites and cabanas for a relaxing getaway.
It’s easier than ever to bring signature Hampton style back to the city, with the One Kings Lane store now open seven days a week and fully stocked with new pieces in a former 19th-century library.

Chef-owner Jon Albrecht is bringing Italian staples to Water Mill with Culaccino, slated for a mid-June opening. Expect comforting seafood classics and new specialties like a wild boar chop, and an outdoor patio and bar to make the most of the summer.
Opening in mid-June, L&W Market will offer a specialty grocery store in Bridgehampton as an offshoot of Almond restaurant. Some of Almond’s favorites will be available to grab and go, alongside picnic basket staples.

All the old sashimi favorites are back, but after studying traditional crafts, the restaurant is also offering housemade Japanese buckwheat soba noodles. A new late-night bites menu will feature ramen bowls and steamed buns.
Joining Main Street from Memorial Day weekend, Faherty will bring their beachy fashion to a Sag Harbor boutique to keep the Hamptons stylish this season. Expect plenty of indigo and block prints.

Luxury lifestyle brand AERIN opens a second Hamptons boutique featuring house label collection items and pieces from Aerin Lauder’s favorite brands, including home decor, beauty, fashion, accessories, and travel products.
An ’80s icon is back: The sons of the original owner have opened The Quiet Clam 2.0, satisfy all seafood-centric needs at lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch year-round.
Brooklyn meets Hamptons for one weekend, as Williamsburg’s Freehold takes over Ruschmeyer’s for a Memorial Day Weekend brunch. This clash of the titans will kick off a summer-long program of events that includes Drunk Yoga and a host of (real) fitness classes from various NYC wellness studios every weekend.
Boutique motel Breakers will launch All Day at Breakers over the Memorial Day Weekend. The casual dining option with indoor and outdoor seating, poolside service, and full bar will serve breakfast, lunch, weekend brunch, afternoon and evening bites, and a decent drinks list — more than living up to its name.
Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa has gone all out for the summer season. Full-service salon OUAISPACE will bring celeb hairstylist Jen Atkin into the fold, and the Beach Club will relaunch following a facelift, allowing the Gurney’s Fashion Collective to hold its pop-up series beachside for the first time.
Fresh, local seafood, no-frill favorites, and a raw bar highlighting local Montauk Pearl Oysters and clams are in store at Montauk’s newest family run eatery Hooked. Get it to go or grab a beachside picnic table.
Popular Italian eatery Caci North Folk is opening a second location on Shelter Island that mirrors the original. Both the menu and award-winning wine list from the original location will be replicated, but the new Shelter Island Caci will also offer an American breakfast menu with Italian accents.
The North Fork
A turn-of-the-century historical home in downtown Riverhead is the setting for new Preston House, a 20-room boutique hotel with New American dining. Original features alongside graffiti walls gives the design hotel Long Island-meets-Manhattan vibes.
Get classic American fare poolside at Sound View’s reiteration of Jack’s Shack. Designed by Brooklyn-based Studio Tack, Jack Levain’s iconic 1930s beach snack shack is reborn as a casual dining option for pool dwellers who are unwilling to change out of their swimsuits. After a day poolside, the Sound View’s piano bar will also host live musical performances in partnership with Joe’s Pub at The Public and Sid’s Gold Request Room. Gather round the baby grand to hear music from emerging artists and piano bar karaoke.

Popular breakfast and lunch spot Simply Sublime opens a new organic market in Cutchogue with an abbreviated version of their East Hampton menu, including açai bowls, fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, and organic coffee.
Cutchogue is also set to be the home of Suhru Wines’ new tasting room, providing an opportunity to taste crisp whites and light tannic reds from Australian-born winemaker Russell Hearn.
Local duo Antonio and Stephanie Piraino are bringing a new farm country-inspired eatery to Mattituck. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, EAsT on Main (10560 Main Rd.) is set to be a casual dining option on the North Fork, serving orange blossom pancakes, a build-your-own-burger bar, and house-made fried Twinkies and whoopie pie.
