Healthy zoodle dishes have been all over Pinterest for awhile now. But I only recently decided to give into the fad — and get a veggie spiralizer — because I’m trying to mix up my dinner routine.

While searching, I realized there were a TOOOON of spiralizers on the market. But I was drawn to the Veggetti because of it’s awesome price, compact size, and, well, its bizarre name (lol).

The Veggetti has over 3,000 reviews on Amazon (and more than half of the ratings are 4 or 5 stars). And since it costs less than $10, I figured I really had nothing to lose in trying it.

Since I’ve started using it, I totally see why the Veggetti has such a cult following.

Unlike some other bulky models that take up counter space, the Veggetti is super small and it doesn’t take up any extra room in my teeny-tiny kitchen. It’s also SO easy to use.

With just the turn of your hand, it allows you to transform vegetables like sweet potatoes, zucchini, beets, and turnips into spaghetti-like strands.

It’s also dishwasher safe and very easy to clean, which makes cooking dinner much quicker and easier.

The Veggetti has two blades so that you can spiralize your vegetables into thicker or thinner strands.

I personally usually stick to the thick blade, because it makes vegetable noodles that more resemble pasta noodles.

Once you spiralize your vegetable of choice (my favorite is zucchini) you can just sauté the veggie noodles in a pan with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Of course, spiralized zucchini isn’t going to taste exactly like spaghetti. But loaded with your favorite pasta toppings, it’s a satisfying and better-for-you alternative (like these 5-ingredient parmesan zucchini noodles, pictured above).

You can also spiralize anything from carrots and cucumbers to sweet potatoes and turnips.
